This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Raq Hire ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By using the Raq Hire website or submitting information through our forms, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Candidate submissions. When you use "Drop Your CV" we collect your name, email address and the CV file you upload.
- Enquiries. When you contact us or submit a hiring or job-ad request, we collect your name, email, optional company name and the message you send.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the topics you select until you unsubscribe.
- Usage data. We record anonymised events such as listing views and apply clicks, and aggregated search terms, to improve the service. These are not used to identify you.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and consider you for relevant opportunities.
- To operate, secure and improve the platform.
- To send the newsletter you explicitly opted in to (double opt-in).
Consent for CV storage
We only store your CV after you tick the consent box on the submission form. Your consent covers us keeping your CV and contact details so we can consider you for relevant opportunities. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, and we will delete your CV and associated details.
How long we keep your data
CVs and their associated contact details are retained for a limited period and then automatically deleted. The current retention period is set by Raq Hire and is typically twelve months from submission. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle them.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Opportunities may be provided by third-party companies; where a listing directs you to apply with the hiring company, your interaction from that point is governed by that company's own terms and privacy practices.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, export or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, use the Contact section of the site and tell us the email address you used. We will verify and action your request.
Security
CV files are stored on private, access-controlled storage. Staff access is restricted by role, and downloads of CVs are logged. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
